If you're just browsing or seeking a church in the area you'll need to know what to expect, so here's a brief summary of  what you are likely find find here at CEC

On Sunday mornings people from a wide range of ages, backgrounds and cultures join together at CEC to worship. We are a 'come as you are' church and want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable. There's no dress code or other expectation

Our Sunday morning service starts at 10:30.  All our services are informal and no two Sundays will ever be the same. We include worship songs, prayer, testimonies and a talk based on a passage from the Bible highlighting its relevance to us today in a practical way. This talk is usually given by the Pastor but other members of the church and guest speakers are also involved on a regular basis. The music is varied and we do our utmost to bring the best mix of modern and traditional so that there is something for everyone.

Children's Facilities

Kid's Quest (5 - 10 years)

In Kid's Quest the children have great fun enjoying their own songs, stories and prayer time together. They then divide into groups where the leader will provide activities using age appropriate Christian materials.

Young people aged from 11 - 15 years take part in our Youth Cafe Church where they are encouraged to look at what faith means as they develop into young adults. The format for Youth Cafe Church is informal and includes discussion on topical news items and following programmes such as 'Youth Christianity Today'

This, however, is by no means the full extent of our community life. We passionately believe in being a key presence throughout the week as we endeavour to bring the realities of our faith in Jesus to life with those we meet.

Creche (under 5 years)

There is a separate creche facility with a live feed through to the main service for parents with young children under 5 years.

What else?

We are a very active body of people as church together and as a presence in our local community. There is lots more and  too much detail to include in one page so why not take a look at one of the following links to get a greater picture of life at CEC:
