  • Thanks so much for visiting out our website. Hopefully you’ll find all the information you need to answer any questions you have about who we are at Crofts End. Established back in 1895 as 'The Miners Mission' by and for the local colliery workers our church has a long history of serving the people of our community. Although times have changed, the purpose of the church is to share the hope of the Good News of Jesus Christ in relevant ways remains the same.

We gather for Sunday morning worship each week at 10:30am. We do also broadcast our services from 10.25am on our YouTube channel. and hope that you will join us, either digitally or in person.

We look forward to meeting you, but if you've got any further questions please get in touch.

    God bless you

    Andrew Yelland

  • Visiting us this Sunday?

    Here’s the rundown.

  • Welcome
    9.40am – 10.20am

Before the service starts, enjoy some great freshly brewed coffee and a chance to chat and relax before the service starts.

  • Sunday Service
    10.30am – 12.00pm

    Main Worship

We start with a time of sung worship, led by our live band. This often leads into a time of open prayer and may include the gifts of the Spirit. Twice a month we share communion and will sometimes hear stories of what God is doing in people's lives today. There will also be time to hear a thought provoking message from the Bible. We also have a purpose built crèche for under 2’s where parents can take little ones and are able to still see and hear the service.

Children attending Superbook join the adults for the first part of Main Worship before making their way downstairs, to hang out in the coffee shop. The hour long session includes fun and games as well as teaching from the excellent animated Superbook series.

    The Grid

Young people attending The Grid join the adults for the first part of Main Worship before making their way downstairs, to hang out in the community room. Here they’ll have their own discussion based learning using age appropriate Youth For Christ 'Lumen' material as their basis, as well as videos and web resources.

  • Thirst
    7.00 pm - 9.00 pm

If you’re looking for something more chilled out ‘Thirst’ may be just for you. A monthly event held in our coffee shop on the first Sunday of each month from November through to February. 'Thirst' is a live music event featuring a variety of Christian artists and is a great avenue to introduce someone to church.
